Getting Back into the Swing of Things
It’s been a little while since I’ve posted, and part of that is because I haven’t really been out shooting as much. One of the main reasons behind this is that I got a new job and started working again. It’s a wonderful thing since I still require money to live, and my passion for photography doesn’t pay enough to cover my living (and traveling!) expenses…yet.
I’m very thankful, and blessed, to have found a new job, with an excellent company and people at that. The ramp-up time is extreme (tight project timelines) but the work is certainly very interesting and rewarding. This is the first time I’ve taken to get out a quick blog post and to share a couple of flowers that I shot one evening last week. They were quite beautiful and I was able to catch them before the closed up for the evening.
I hope you enjoy them and I’ll continue to post and respond more as I get back into the swing of things.

Congratulations on the new job!! I love your flower photos, great colors too! If your job skills are anything like your photo skills you will be the ace!
I know what you mean by not able to shoot..new job brings new responsibilities and it takes time to get used to the new schedule. I am sure things will fall back in places soon.
Good luck on your new job!
