In the Shadow of Notre Dame

Well, maybe when the sun is reaaaly low on the horizon, but you get the idea. I happened upon this bridge (Pont de l’Archevêché) near Notre Dame Cathedral. Couples place a lock on the bridge as a symbol of their bond of love for one another. Then the key is thrown into the Seine below to represent that the bond between them will never be broken. This is in the same style as yesterday’s post, but well, in a completely different country. This image was taken at the same time as the subject of an earlier post “I’ll Love You Forever…” that is also one of my favorite images.

Exposure: 1/800 at f/2.8, ISO 100 – Sigma 18-50mm at 23mm
