California Coast Photo Walk
With the great weather here in Northern California over the last few days, I had the chance to get out and take some pictures along the coast yesterday. It was really a beautiful day and I visited the Point Montara Lighthouse Hostel along the Pacific Coast Highway.
I also made a stop at Pillar Point Harbor to get some shots of the building on the dock below. I keep shooting this building looking for the perfect shot, and even after yesterday’s shooting, I still haven’t found it. The following image is the best of the images I shot of “the dock building” yesterday.
There were some beautiful views of the coast also from Point Montara. The following shot shows how beautiful a day it was:
The Point Montara Lighthouse location has many beautiful flowers and views, not the least of which is the lighthouse itself…
After a while, the sun began to set, and with the clouds in the sky, I could tell that we were in for a lovely sunset that evening. Here is an idea of how beautiful the sunset was yesterday.
After the sun went down, the views became even more colorful and exciting. This is one of the images I shot after the sun dropped below the horizon.
I hope you enjoyed this as much as I enjoyed my photo walk yesterday. Please check out the gallery on my website, http://www.jljfoto.com , which has a few additional images from the photo walk not posted here. You can go directly to the gallery here.
