Well the 5th day in Tokyo turned out to be a very good day with a bus ride, visit to the Yebisu brewery museum, the final resting place of the 47 Ronin and finished with the lights of Ginza. A great day indeed, i was able to wrap up the last of the “must shoot” and “hope to shoot” items on my list although the last two locations were harder to shoot than I’d anticipated. At any rate, here are a few images from the day.
I took this shot while riding on a moving bus. I was surprised at how small the bus was, and how few seats there were. I was even more surprised that I was able to fit in one of the seats!
This is a shot from inside the museum, the muted lighting, the beer displays, the tasting, nice experience and nice mood.
This was the view from the top of the Yebisu tower. Beautiful day, unfortunately there wasn’t an observation area on the other side of the building to see Tokyo Tower. This was from the 39th floor.
The story of the 47 Ronin is an example of Japanese honor and loyalty. This was a visit to thrie final resting place.
Ginza! What can I say other than WOW!
As in the rest of tis series, these are unprocessed other than the addition of the watermark. Posted from my iPad.
